Attack Of The Bag Headed Girls - 1950s? - The Vintage Halloween Gallery

Well, another one without a date on it, and a really chilling feeling. There's something about a room full of young girls with paper bags on their heads that's very unsettling, especially when they've all drawn smiling, happy faces on them. One would hope they were able to lift their masks to enjoy their lemonade and cakes, but maybe eating and drinking through the masks was part of some strange initiation ceremony? Who knows, all I know is I really like this photo.
